Blessed by the abundance of the Pacific Northwest and Puget Sound, Everett has access to some of the best salmon and steelhead fishing in the world. Whale watching, kayaking, hiking. crabbing, boating and sailing are perennially popular activities in Everett along with oceanside walks and great waterfront restaurants.

Everett Economy & Employment

Graced by a natural deep water port and access to inernational markets, the city of Everett has always been the economic hub of Snohomish county. Everett is the county seat and the current economy is strong with positive job growth. Considered one of the core cities in the Seattle-Tacoma-Olympia CMSA, Everett has a population over 100,000 and is growing fast.

The Snohomish County Airport is located in Everett and theWashington State Ferries which travel between Mukilteo, Edmonds and Seattle are well used by Everett residents. Everett Transit, Community Transit and Sound Transit operate extensive bus routes within the city.

Recreation & Land in Everett

There are mountains in every direction you look in Everett. Views here that arent framed by the ocean are decorated by the Cascades, the Olympic mountains, Mount Rainer and Mount Baker. Rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding and hiking are natural activities here. Marine recreation are equally popular and residents can take ferries to jetty island or explore the many smaller islands in Possession Sound. Hat Island, the Whidbey Islands and the San Juan islands are all visible from the Everett Waterfront. The area has plenty of parks, wildlands, wetlands, lakes, rivers and forests for hardy explorers and leisure hounds.
